研究方向: 为在分子、原子水平上阐明作为“地球上最重要化学反应之一”的光合作用的机理,我们利用结构生物学、生物化学、生物物理学等方法,研究各类光合生物光系统I、光系统II等超分子复合体的结构与功能; 以期阐明光合作用水裂解反应、光能吸收传递和转换、以及光合系统适应环境变化的调控机理。不仅为实现农作物光能高效转化、人工模拟光合作用、开发和利用新能源提供理论依据,而且对于气候环境问题的改善也有重大理论意义和应用价值。主要研究方向为: (1)各类生物光系统I和光系统II的结构和功能 (2)光合膜蛋白高分辨率晶体和冷冻电镜结构解析 (3)光合作用重要调控蛋白的结构与功能
